Buffalo Chicken Smash Burger

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 brioche burger buns
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo sauce
  • 1 stalk of celery, diced
  • Lettuce leaves

Directions

  1. Preheat your Elite Series griddle over medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix the ground chicken with garlic powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Form the chicken mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
  4. Add a little bit of oil to the griddle and place the sliced onions on it. Cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  5. Place the chicken patties on the griddle and use a flat spatula to smash them down to about 1/2 inch thick. Cook for 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip them over and cook for another 3-4 minutes on the other side.
  6. While the chicken patties are cooking, mix together the ranch dressing and Buffalo sauce in a small bowl.
  7. Once the chicken patties are fully cooked, add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty and let it melt.
  8. Toast the buns on the griddle.
  9. To assemble the burgers, spread the ranch and Buffalo sauce mixture on the bottom bun, then add a lettuce leaf, a chicken patty with melted cheese, some diced celery, and some cooked onions. Place the top bun on the burger.
  10. Repeat the process for the remaining burgers.
  11. Your Buffalo chicken smash burgers on a griddle are now ready to serve! Enjoy!
