This loaded sandwich is the ultimate combo of tender steak, seasoned potatoes, and gooey cheese. Made on the HALO ELITE Griddle, it’s big, hearty, and packed with flavor! Let’s see if you can handle this mouthwatering bite.
Ingredients
- 2 medium potatoes (peeled and sliced)
- 2 steak tenderloins
- Your favorite steak seasoning (we used Kinder’s The Blend seasoning)
- Oregano (for potatoes)
- Bread (for the sandwich, your choice)
- Cheese slices (your favorite melty cheese)
- 1 tbsp garlic (minced)
- ¼ cup chopped parsley
- ½ stick butter (softened)
- 1 tbsp Parmesan cheese
Directions
Prep the Garlic Butter:
- In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, chopped parsley, softened butter, and Parmesan. Mix until smooth. Set aside.
Cook the Potatoes:
Season potato slices with Kinder’s The Blend and oregano. Cook them on the HALO ELITE Griddle until golden and tender (about 10-12 minutes). Set aside.
Cook the Steak:
Season steak tenderloins with Kinder’s The Blend. Grill or pan-sear the steaks on the HALO ELITE Griddle to your desired doneness (about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare). Slice the steak thinly once cooked.
Assemble the Sandwich:
- Butter one side of each slice of bread with the garlic butter spread. On the non-buttered side, layer one slice of cheese, a portion of the cooked potatoes, sliced steak, and another slice of cheese. Top with another slice of bread.
Grill the Sandwich:
Place the sandwich on the HALO ELITE Griddle. Grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side, pressing gently until the bread is golden and crispy, and the cheese is melted.
Serve:
Cut in half, and enjoy the epic double-decker melt with a cheesy, savory bite!
