Delicious, tender steak cooked with a select blend of seasonings and seared to perfection. Our flat iron steak makes for an excellent weeknight dinner option.


Flat Iron Steak

Ingredients

  • Olive Oil​
  • Chipotle Chili Powder​
  • Paprika​
  • Montreal Steak Seasoning (Alternately, salt, black pepper, garlic, and onion powder.)​
  • Unsalted Butter​
  • Flat Iron Steak

Directions

  1. Drizzle olive oil on steak and evenly coat, less is more.​

  2. Season the steak with Montreal Steak Seasoning first, then chipotle and paprika up to 4 hours before starting grill.​

  3. Set your Prime300 grill to 250 degrees allow temperature to stabilize.​

  4. Smoke the steak until internal temperature is 110 degrees.​

  5. Change grill temperature to 450 degrees and open sear plate.​

  6. Flip steak over and sear for 3-5 minutes on both sides until internal temperature is between 125-130 for medium. After removing steak from grill baste with butter and wrap in foil or cover on a plate.​

  7. REST YOUR STEAK! Allow 10-15 minutes for resting.​
