What do you get when you combine sweet, smoky, and mildly spicy? Game Day wings! Flavorful wings grilled and tossed a rich maple bourbon glaze made on the PRIME300 will be a hit with everyone.


Maple Bourbon Wings

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp of your favorite BBQ rub (we used a Maple Bourbon Blend)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup rye whiskey (we used Iron Fish Rye Whiskey finished in maple syrup barrels)
  • ⅔ cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary

    1. Preheat your grill to 375°F.

    2. Season the wings evenly with Maple Bourbon Rub.

    1. Place the wings on the grill and cook for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and fully cooked (internal temp 165°F).

    1. While the wings cook, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.

    2. Stir in whiskey, maple syrup, tomato paste, and hot sauce.

    3. Add the rosemary sprig and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove the rosemary before serving.

    1. Remove wings from the grill and toss them in the warm maple bourbon sauce.
    2. Serve hot and enjoy!
