HALO may ask that defective parts be returned for inspection. If this is needed, we’ll request that the part be sent back with postage or freight prepaid by the original purchaser.
Please keep a copy of your proof of purchase, such as your sales receipt or invoice. You may be asked to provide this information if you submit a warranty claim. Product registration is helpful, but it does not replace the need for proof of purchase, and the manufacturer is not responsible for storing or retrieving purchase records.
The original purchaser is responsible for any shipping charges associated with replacement parts provided under this limited warranty. This warranty applies only to products purchased and used in the United States and Canada, is valid only for the product’s original owner, and cannot be transferred.
This limited warranty covers the functionality of the product. It does not cover cosmetic issues such as scratches, dents, corrosion, discoloration from heat, marks from cleaners or tools used during assembly or installation, surface rust, or changes in stainless-steel appearance. Paint is not covered under warranty and may require touch-up over time. Rust is not considered a defect in materials or workmanship.
The warranty also does not reimburse you for incidental costs, including inconvenience, food loss, personal injury, or property damage.
Your exclusive remedy under this limited warranty is the repair or replacement of defective parts. If certain parts are no longer available, HALO Products Group LLC (“HALO”) may provide an equivalent substitute with the same functionality.
HALO is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the product or from a breach of this warranty, such as damage caused by acts of nature, improper care, grease fires, alterations, commercial use, transportation, or installation that doesn’t follow local codes or our usage instructions.
This limited warranty is the only express warranty provided by HALO. Any implied warranties, such as merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration and scope described here. Some states do not allow limitations on incidental or consequential damages, so these restrictions may not apply to all customers. HALO’s maximum liability will not exceed the original purchase price of the product. You may have additional rights depending on your state. In California, if refinishing or replacement is not practical, the retailer has the option to refund the purchase price minus any value from prior use. California customers may also bring their product back to the retailer for warranty service.
